One of my favorite options for a summertime office look is an elegant white dress. A dress with a simple design offset by the unique color choice results in a look that is both chic and timeless. So, when I recently scored this sweater dress on sale, I knew my closet was in luck.
White is a neutral many do not often turn to, but it can instantly elevate a look. Additionally, I find adding white to my wardrobe, particularly during warmer months, is a fun way to mix things up. When you are building a wardrobe and thinking of adding white pieces, be mindful of finding the right shade of right for your skin tone to avoid being washed out by the color.
I opted to pair the dress with suede nude heels, although your favorite heeled sandal or neutral-colored pumps are excellent alternatives. Complete your look with a beige handbag, and you are set. You could even add a thin belt if you are looking for more waist definition.

Such a pretty dress! I was always fearful of wearing light colors that I would spill something on myself, but white is such an elegant color.
