Happy Valentine’s Week everybody! Last week I published a red dress for Valentine’s. I feel like I would be doing a disservice to this blog by not also giving a pink option as well. This outfit is a little more professionally than the other outfit for all of you ladies in a more conservative office environment.
I like the idea of a pink coat because you would not be wearing it all day. It adds enough pop to an everyday outfit to make it festive, but it is not overly festive. This coat is from a local boutique here in Houston. It runs on the larger size, but I prefer that. I like it when I can actually wear something bulkier underneath my coats. The suede material is really what makes this coat so appealing.
I paired the coat with a simple cashmere sweater and navy pants. I love the look of wide-leg pants with a longer coat; it looks so stylish. I opted for a darker pair of trousers because I did not want the pants clashing with the jacket. To top the look off, I added a cute tote bag with pink cherry blossoms; it is a great tote for Valentine’s Day!
Hopefully, this provides you with some last-minute inspiration for Valentine’s Day. You do not need an entire outfit to be pink or red. Instead, consider adding one piece as the focal point to your outfit. You will look chic and professional with a little flare of fun. Enjoy the rest of your week!
