I picked up this adorable sweater dress for a steal. I feel like I’m cheating at business casual when I’m wearing this dress; it feels more like pajamas. =
I was attempting to style the dress more formally, so it could transition to a work outfit. I tried scarves, belts, and a variety of different shoes, but nothing seemed quite right. Then, it hit me. I had purchased a gorgeous suede jacket years ago that would match the brown undertone of this sweater dress.
For shoes, I ultimately decided on some classic nude pumps. You could definitely opt for a different type of shoe such as a bootie. I wanted to keep the outfit more minimal, so the nude heels were the best option for a simple and classic look.
Overall, I am super happy with how this outfit turned out. It is the perfect combination of cozy, classic, and chic for the office. Next time you are looking for a great office outfit, consider a sweater dress paired with a light jacket and some neutral colored heels.
