I love a good midi skirt. They are so easy to style, and they look great on anyone. Pleated midi skirts are on trend right now, so I picked one up at Nordstrom Rack last week. I opted for a neutral colored skirt. The price was heavily discounted. At around $27, I really couldn’t say no. The quality is excellent, and it fits true to size.
I paired the skirt with a black turtleneck sweater. This sweater is a closet staple for me. The sweater is lightweight enough that I can wear it during summer months thanks to office air conditioning, yet it still keeps me warm during colder months too. For shoes, I wore my favorite black heels from Stuart Weitzman. Disregarding the shoes, this entire look is under $100 thanks to some great sales going on right now. If you are looking to save money, you could easily opt for different shoes.
There is just something about pairing black and camel that screams chic to me. This is a great business casual outfit that you could easily transition to a weekend outfit. Next time you are scrambling to assemble an outfit for the office, give a pleated midi skirt a try.
