Hello everyone! I hope you have been staying safe and healthy during these difficult times. Like so many, I have not left the house for anything other than essentials the past few weeks (AKA chocolate and wine). There has not necessarily been a need to wear business casual attire lately, so I have been bumming around in leggings and sweaters (more on that later).

Regardless, I decided to dress up for Passover dinner a few days ago. I was looking for an outfit that was cheerful, feminine, and upbeat. Well, this outfit from New York & Co certainly hit the mark in all three of those categories. If you have been following Professionally Posh for a couple of months, you probably know how much I love black skirts. It is just hard to mess them up. They are timeless, and they go with just about everything. I especially love this trumpet skirt, because the flare at the bottom transforms a classic black skirt into something a little bit more trendy and unique. Still, you can pair many options for blouses which allows the skirt to be very practical and versatile. The result? A great piece to add to any wardrobe

I decided to pair the skirt with this beautiful blouse. The blouse is a fun spring piece, and I would argue it can easily be worn during the summer too. When I first saw the shirt, I added it to my cart immediately. It truly is an amazing find for spring. Finally, I finished the outfit with classic black pumps. New York & Company has generously extended the discount for everyone here! If you shop their site via this link, you can score $15 off a purchase of $30 or more with the code NYCOFANS. This discount applies to items already discounted, so you will surely be able to find some great pieces at even better prices (even if they are leggings for the quarantine period, I won’t judge). Stay safe and healthy everyone!
