One of my favorite beauty must-haves is nail polish. The right polish can really pull an outfit together and add a fun pop of color. Plus, I find nail polish to be a fun and inexpensive way to elevate an office look. However, finding the right polish can be overwhelming with so many options out there. Now add another layer to the puzzle of what shades are office appropriate, and you might be left feeling overwhelmed and confused. Thankfully I have compiled a list of 6 great colors to wear to the office this summer!
- Chanel Passe-Muraille.
Recently, Chanel reissued their nail polish with improved formula and a brush designed for easier application. As part of the re-brand, Chanel also introduced 17 new colors, including Passe-Muraille..The color is a combination of a pink-terracotta with some beautiful rust undertones, which creates a unique color for the summer. The polish has enough pop that it stands out, but it still pairs well with neutrals. The warm undertone offers a refreshing twist on the color and ensures the color does not get overwhelming for your 9 to 5. If you are looking for something unique to mix things up, this is the color for you. I recently purchased a bottle and have been wearing it on repeat. - Butter London Cool Nude Crème.
When searching for a neutral color, this elegant crème immediately drew my attention. While many may claim the cool undertone of the color would be better suited to a winter palate, the hint of crème balances the cool undertone. The shine of the polish is a refreshing twist that creates a bolder look compared to a traditional neutral polish resulting in a perfect neutral for the summer. - Essie Skinny Dip.
Adored by fashion’s newest it girl, Sophie Richie, this shade is one of the top selling shades this season and for good reason. You do not get more classic that a neutral polish with pink and peach undertones. The color pairs well with everything and is absolutely timeless. The peach undertone is a variation of shades in this class and is a refreshing look for the warmer months. The polish is neutral enough that you can wear it even in the most conservative office environments while still offer a fun splash of color. - OPI Sanding in Stilettos.
When browsing OPI’s Summer Make the Rule Collection, this color immediately caught my attention. Sanding in Stilettos is subtle enough that you can wear it to the office with many outfits, but unique enough in that it doesn’t look like every other summer polish out there. The shade has a nice shimmer that catches your attention but not so much that it is overwhelming. The orange undertone is a bold color choice that is complemented by the pear undertone, making for an excellent choice to put on rotation to the office this summer. - Zoya Ono.
For those looking for a natural option at a great price, consider Zoya’s Ono hue. Described as “a dark berry magenta in a full coverage cream formula” this choice is a nice twist on a traditional berry color. The color is a bit brighter that a deep berry making it perfect for the summer. Paired with the right outfit, this cool toned color can help tie together an outfit and make a statement. - Manicurists Poppy Red.
This list wouldn’t be complete without a red option, and this poppy red is a great option. The color provides the perfect splash of color to any outfit with some brighter undertones resulting in a bold color choice. While red can be a confident choice for the office, this shade offers a sophisticated option for that pairs well with many outfits. I prefer reds with warmer undertones for the summer, which is what this shade can offer compared to alternatives that would be more geared for colder months.
I hope you enjoy these polishes and enjoy pairing them with outfits to create some great office looks this summer! When painting your nails, remember to apply a base coat for nail health and a top coat to make your summer manicure last even longer. Bonus if you are able to also use a cuticle cream before applying a base coat. I hope you enjoy these polishes and enjoy pairing them with outfits to create some great office looks this summer! What are some of your other color choices for the office during warmer months.

These are all really pretty shades of polish. The Chanel polish and the Butter London are my favorite from your list. Thanks for sharing!
Really pretty color suggestions! I’m especially liking the Chanel. It has a soft and warm tone that I think goes with many outfits. Thanks for the suggestions.
